Cedric Soares was discussing one of Arsenal’s summer deals, Fabio Vieira.
Vieira was Arsenal’s first big signing of the 2022 summer transfer window, with his arrest coming somewhat out of the blue.
The midfielder is believed to have brought Arsenal back just over £34m following his move from FC Porto.

Now, after Vieira spent just over a month settling at Arsenal, Cedric has been discussing his compatriot.
In doing so, the right-back was quick to highlight two key qualities in Vieira, his bravery and intelligence:
“He has a similar mindset to me, which is great to see,” Cedric said. “I am helping him settle in. Fabio is a very smart player from what I saw in Portugal.
