Manchester City transfer target Mark Cucurella is said to be disappointed with Brighton due to their high price tag.
Brighton are said to be demanding £50m for Cucurella, with Manchester City willing to pay just £30m, according to ESPN.
Cucurella has enjoyed an impressive season with Brighton, and after joining only last year, the seagulls are right to demand a hefty fee for the Spain international.
However, it has been reported that Cucurella has asked Brighton to allow him to join Manchester City, and he is disappointed with the fees they are asking, as indicated in the tweet below.
Mark Cucurella only wants Manchester City. He told Brighton’s staff weeks ago his intention to leave the club if Man City came up with a good offer, and he is now frustrated by the high price. ?? #MCFC

Brighton will not want the situation to get ugly, if Cucurella continues to demand that he leave the club. The opportunity to join Manchester City doesn’t come around often, so it’s understandable to hear he’s eager to make the change.
It is not surprising to see Manchester City targeting Cucurella, as it would provide an offensive option on the left side of the defence.
This will allow Joao Cancelo to move to the right side, providing more balance to Pep Guardiola’s team.
However, it wouldn’t be smart to overpay for Cucurella, and they will hope that Brighton will succumb to Cucurella’s demands to leave.
