The snapshots of pre-match action ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s clash with Brentford will undoubtedly bring a collective smile to the faces of fans around the world on Saturday night.
The footage in question focuses on the reunion of the Tottenham stars with former team-mate Christian Eriksen.
Denmark international Eriksen, of course, left north London in January of 2020, to join Italian side Inter Milan.
After the Nerazzurri had no choice but to terminate the 30-year-old’s contract last summer due to Italian football’s rules regarding the use of implantable defibrillators – the device Eriksen was fitted with in the back of a frightening cardiac arrest at Euro 2020 – despite That, the Dane secured a return to English football, thanks to the aforementioned Brentford.
And on Saturday, for the first time, the beloved midfield captain got the chance to be reunited with his Spurs teammates for a one-off.
Before the event began in west London, Eriksen was seen re-acquaintance with the likes of Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris, as rivalries were put on the field to one side:

This came at a time when Eriksen was warmly received by the Tottenham team in the match.
As the Denmark international made his way towards the corner flag to take charge of the Bee group in the first half, he was greeted and celebrated by the far section of the crowd, clearly delighted to see his once brilliance in midfield flourish on the pitch. Pitch again:
