Barcelona lost their first La Liga match since returning in December of 2021 on Monday evening.
Barcelona will face Cadiz in a league match, looking to recover from their Europa League exit at the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt last week.
However, when all was said and done, the Catalans lost 1-0 and their already slim hopes for the title faded away.
Now, after this loss, Xavi Hernandez has come out and suggested that Barcelona improve if they want to qualify for the Champions League: “We have to be humble because we haven’t achieved anything… We have to improve our game in order to qualify for the Champions League.”

Xavi added: “When you win 0-4 at the Bernabéu, it makes sense to say things like Barcelona come back… But I’m telling you now that we are making mistakes, and we should have more faith and desire. We have to be a more competitive team.”
