Insight was provided into the financial details of an alleged proposal made by Premier League giants Manchester City to Erling Haaland on Monday night.
The topic of Haaland’s future has of course been rampant in the media for quite some time now.
This comes with the Norwegian sensation having to be available at a reduced price this summer, when a clause in his contract with Borussia Dortmund comes into force.
A whole host of heavyweight players in European football, in turn, are expected to express a keen interest in his signature.
And now, as we noted above, one of these groups has made the first move.
According to a report from Gianluca Di Marzio, a member of the Italian transfer team, Manchester City have positioned themselves front and center in the Haaland lottery courtesy of an impressive proposal, which was floated this weekend.
The offer is understood to be based on around €75m to cover the striker’s release clause, backed by €70m in various commissions.
Moreover, a five-year contract has been put in place for Haaland himself, which includes a wage of 30 million euros per season, for a total of 150 million euros.
