Gas prices are at a record high, causing bleak times to be expected for ordinary Americans who continue to see higher prices at the pump.
Certain sections of Congress are pushing for the 2022 Gas Rebate Act that would give $100 to Americans in an effort to combat rising gas prices, targeting individuals who earn $75,000 or less.

Tax deadline 2022
April 18th is the last day to file your tax returns in the vast majority of states. However, if you are not on time, you can request a tax extension before that date.
File an automatic extension of the time to file a US Individual Income Tax Return (PDF) (Form 4868) on or before the normal due date for your return. If you do not make a proper assessment of your tax, you will be treated as not having submitted a valid application for the extension and you may be charged a fine for filing late.
