Liverpool are tracking Turin centre-back Bremer ahead of a potential summer transfer, as the Brazilian defender has impressed many in Serie A with his performance this season.
The Reds are expected to race for the defender, although San Siro’s Inter Milan believe he leads the way by a distance.

The 25-year-old Brazilian has made 28 appearances this season for Torino, and his outstanding defensive performance has seen his side conceded just 30 goals, giving Torino their fifth fierce defense in Serie A this season.
After his contract expires in 2024, the defender is widely expected to move from Turin this summer, and while Inter leads the race, Goal.com It reported that Liverpool is also tracking the centre-back, who is set to cost upwards of €25m.
According to the goal, “Joe Gomez’s future at Anfield remains uncertain and if the injury-prone England international leaves during the summer, the Reds will have a void to fill.”
Will Bremer fit in at Liverpool?
The report certainly believes so. They suggest that “Bremer will provide an excellent alternative, given his age, ability to play at right-back and the fact that he is likely to be available for around €25m”.
But Gomez has made only two Premier League games, one at right-back so far this season. The arrival of Ibrahima Konate and the impressive performances of Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk meant that Gomez was unable to run as he was undoubtedly hoping after injury.
It also raises questions about Bremer’s necessity, with Van Dijk virtually always and irreplaceable on the side, meaning the Brazilian would be vying for a place with Konate and Matip for one. The money might be better spent on an external backup defender.
